WHO ARE WE?
Rebel Capybara Studio (RSC) rises from the need to tell unique stories and shake up the universe of architecture and design. It was founded by VNA, accompanied by a team of restless souls eager to give their all in each work. We are pure creative energy!
WHY CAPYBARA?
Capybaras, with their serious demeanour but playful spirit, embody the harmony between seriousness and fun.
At Rebel Capybara Studio, we embrace this balance to convey our design style. Like these magnificent creatures, we create spaces with meticulous seriousness in architectural design, but we also inject a touch of fun and comfort. A place where seriousness merges with relaxation, and functionality meets the playful atmosphere that characterizes these incredible creatures.
WHO’S VNA?
It’s a me! Vicente Navarro Aguilar, founder of the studio and lover of design.
My professional life is defined by several milestones: combining my work at the Grafeno Arquitectura office with architecture studies, culminating in my graduation in 2017. It was during this period when I defined my main focus: interior design and graphic representation. I learned that VERY often, selling the idea is as crucial as the idea itself.
After obtaining my architectural degree, I ventured into different sectors, enriching my experience, inspired by the spirit of Wiemar's Bauhaus almost by chance. I specialize in stone with the main representative of Antolini Italy in Spain, I delve into furniture design in a small carpentry studio, I immerse myself in the Valencian tradition of ceramics (which I have not abandoned) and I dive in the world of construction and the work, seeing the discrepancies between paper (or screen) and reality.
However, it is during my stay in Greece (thanks Ilias, thanks Lab Athens!) where I appreciate the true essence of architecture: the harmony between materials, form and environment. “This is what I want to do,” I thought to myself.
