This humble renovation project, located in Valencia, started from an existing correct layout, although there was room for some improvement.
The main points that Ana and Marcos were looking for were opening the kitchen to the living room and practicality. They just wanted to give the apartment a general facelift and redistribute bathrooms that were the stuff of nightmares. But they deserved more.
Thus, the kitchen is stripped, along the pillars and beams, giving itself over to the living-dining room, while in the bathrooms, seeking to democratize their use and not relegate them to main and secondary, a curved partition is introduced that dignifies the space and expands it. The curve, on its convex side, hides the toilet view from the access, taking advantage of its opposite concave side to incorporate a bathroom countertop.
This separation highlights its character with a small rectangular jasper green toned tiling, placed vertically to accentuate height, finished with a bath of light in its contact with the false ceiling through a recess to finish off the design.
